Potency
in Every
Pour
Welcome to the future of functional ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages, where consistency and stability are built-in. Imagine an RTD beverage manufacturing work-flow where the container is dosed so that the liquid going into the container does NOT have to be: simple, cost-effective and efficacious.

PATENT CLAIMS
Problem: Functional beverages today are bedeviled by limited shelf life, deteriorating ingredients, imprecise dosing, and uncertain activity. Such shortcomings create manifold failure points and losses for beverage manufacturers, while burdening consumers with uncertain and inconsistent effects. The result: lost time, burned money, increased risk and more headaches.
Solution: Functional beverages tomorrow will have the payload fabricated into the container. Just fill, seal and ship--no mess efficacy and no fuss safety.
More Depth
The beverage industry has long grappled with the challenge of maintaining the potency of active ingredients in beverages from the point of manufacturing to consumption. Whether vitamin C, functional mushroom extracts or cannabinoids, active ingredients degrade over time. This leads to a decrease in their concentration and, consequently, their intended effects. This inconsistency in the concentration of active ingredients not only causes an underwhelming consumer experience but also increases production costs due to the need for overages to ensure the desired effect. The result is a double-whammy—higher costs and fewer loyal consumers.
Our patented technology addresses these issues head-on. It introduces a beverage container design that can ensure the consistent concentration of active ingredients from the time of manufacturing to the point of consumption. The patented container includes a food-grade interior liner that is infused with the active ingredient.
The interior liner can be designed to release the active upon filling with any liquid, only certain types of liquids (e.g. low pH), or upon exposure to a temperature related trigger (e.g. pasteurization). Optional designs of the technology enable radio-frequency or other user-powered triggers that release the active in the beverage. Not only does this control of active-ingredient mixing make the beverages themselves more consistent, but in can allow only those with the proper access key to access (e.g. +21).
Value
KEY
Cost-Effective Production:
Reduces production costs by minimizing the amount of active ingredients needed to ensure the desired effect. This is achieved by controlling the release of active ingredients at the point of consumption, reducing the need for overages.
Preservation of Active
Prevents active ingredients from migrating into the container's liner, which can lead to a loss of active ingredients and the displacement of potentially harmful molecules, such as metal ions.
Regulatory Compliance
Simplifies regulatory and labeling compliance for companies producing such functional beverages as the dosing can be performed at a separate location or isolated to the filling or bottling portion of the production line.
Consistent Dosing:
Addresses the challenge of maintaining a consistent concentration of active ingredient(s) in the functional RTD beverage from the time of manufacturing to consumption. This is a significant issue in the industry as the concentration of active ingredients can decrease over time, leading to uncertain dosing and inconsistent consumer experiences
Safety and Enjoyment
Guards against consuming a greater amount of active ingredients than anticipated, which can lead to undesirable experiences. This is particularly important given the therapeutic window and psychoactive properties of some actives.
Stability of Beverages
Tackles significant stability challenges associated with maintaining cannabinoids and/or alkaloids in an emulsified state within a liquid, simplifying the beverage manufacturing process
Consumer Convenience
Enables consumers to mix the active ingredient with the beverage prior to consumption, improving the consistency of the dose and reducing the likelihood of improper dosing.
Innovation in Beverage Containers
Envisions new markets and opportunities for beverage container and beverage manufacturers by hefting value and scale back through the supply chain.
Who Should License
